As the weather gets warmer, the sales seem to pop up everywhere. There are a lot of town/village yard sales coming up that I won’t want to miss. I’m on the look out for a glass hurricane oil lamp, and as always a pitcher or ten to add to my collection, any old antique or vintage utensils/rolling pins, blue ball glass canning jars (I have a ton of he clear ones w/bail lids),antique lamp;preferably Gone with the Wind style, old glass medicine bottles, and i think that sums it up! I believe I will have to have a sale of my own just so I will have room to house my new finds!

French club fundraiser flea market finds!

Our local high school’s French club held a fundraising flea market and I wanted to share some of my finds with you! I was thrilled to find a white ironstone gravy boat, I think that white ironstone is going to be my next conquest in collections…I just love it! A small white with black transfer ware pitcher marked made in England found a home in my corner cabinet,a primitive hog scraper, a rusty primitive scale, a chippy paint metal food ricer, a teapot for my mother in law, 2 doilies,a cute prim doll sitting on a small wood chair with a birdhouse, and last but not least 2 blue mason jars! There were so many great tables set up and it drew such a nice big crowd. I hope they raised a lot of money!
